If you’re like me, when you find a flattering white swimsuit (like this one I snagged from Target here, you want to wear it everywhere. Whether you’re heading to the beach, lounging poolside, or grabbing lunch after a dip in the pool, having the right cover-up turns your swimwear into a complete outfit. Here are nine stylish ways I’m covering up this summer—budget-friendly, versatile, and chic!
1. The Classic Button-Up

An oversized button-up is effortlessly cool. This one is my FAVORITE outfit out of all of them. I tossed on this cobalt blue linen shirt (with white linen shorts underneath) and instantly had a look I’d wear from the beach to brunch. Add a printed tote, shell sandals, and cute starfish earrings and you’re golden.
2. Sarong Wrap Queen

Nothing screams beachy glam like a printed sarong. Wrap it high on the waist or low on the hips—either way, it shows off that suit while giving you some breezy coverage. Pair it with these cute flip flops, a clear shell bag, and, keeping with theme, some coastal earrings and you are restaurant ready. Even Oreo approves!
3. Coastal Crochet Vibes

Crochet is having a moment. I love how this open-knit cover-up adds just the right texture while keeping things breathable. Style it with a floppy hat (it says Out of office, y’all!), pink sunglasses, cute shell clutch, starfish earrings, and neutral flip flops for vacation-ready vibes.
4. Red & Radiant

Pair a colorful top and flowy wrap skirt for a look that transitions seamlessly from swim to sangria hour. The bold red gives this cover-up look a romantic pop! For accessories add a hat, a cute mini-bag, earrings, bracelets, and sandals for a sweet brunch ready look!
5. Coastal Comfy in White & Red

Same red crochet top, but now styled with breezy white pants. A lightweight option that’s perfect for a stroll down the boardwalk or a casual dinner post-beach. Add sandals, bracelets, a cute tote, hair tie, earrings, and a hat to keep the sun off your face and you are ready for anything!
6. Beach-Set Chic

I tied the top for a slightly more styled vibe and paired it with shell earrings, a beach hat, red hair tie, bracelets, red sandals and the cutest straw bag. It’s a full look built entirely around the swimsuit, and that’s AMORE!
7. Just the Suit

Honestly? The swimsuit deserves its own moment. Clean, classic, and flattering. If you’re lounging poolside, you might not need a cover-up at all!
8. Breezy Two-Piece Knit Set

This two-piece knit cover-up is giving “elegant beach goddess.” Stretchy, lightweight, and just sheer enough to show off that suit underneath. Pants, top, flip flops, bag, earrings, sunglasses, hat
9. Bold in Black & White

A long kimono gives drama and sun coverage in one. The neutral pattern lets the white suit shine while still adding interest. Adding a cute tote, earrings, and sandals makes this outfit CIAO!
