What to Wear to the County Fair: The Ultimate Guide for Comfort and Style

This Saturday, Jimmy and I went to the county fair. It was SO HOT here in South Georgia—82 degrees, to be exact. We thought it would be a good day to go because the GA/FL game was around 3, but also because the Demolition Derby was at 2, and we love watching it! The fair is a pretty big deal around here for adults and children alike! Since we would be doing a lot of walking, I made sure I dressed for comfort and style.

Ankle Boots: Low-heeled ankle boots add a touch of style without sacrificing stability.
Supportive Sandals: For warm days, choose sandals with good arch support. Yellow Box shoes are EXCELLENT for this. I have a really high arch, so these are the only flip-flops/sandals I can wear. Steer clear of flimsy flip-flops that may leave your feet sore after hours of fun. I made this mistake last year. Don’t be like me!

Denim Shorts: The classic shorts option for summer fairs, pairing perfectly with any top for a laid-back look. Pair it with this tank like the one I wore.
Rompers and Jumpsuits: These are easy, one-piece outfits that add style without the fuss. Just make sure they’re bathroom-friendly and comfortable enough for all day wear.
Overalls: Easy and cute. Pair these with a tank and you are good to go!

Crossbody Bags or Fanny Packs: Keep your essentials secure and hands-free. Compact and easy to carry, these bags are perfect for holding your phone, wallet, and sunscreen.

Bandana or Scarf: These are handy for keeping dust away, especially at events like the demolition derby.
Backup Shoes: Consider packing foldable flats for tired feet during long days. These things are a lifesaver and BONUS! They are CUTE!
