Fall is finally here, and I couldn’t wait to lean into the cozy vibes this weekend. From engagement planning moments with Jimmy to adding pumpkins on the porch, it was the sweetest start to the season. I love these slower weekends where we can pause, savor, and soak up all the little things that make autumn feel so special. ✨
💍 A Little Engagement Planning
We’re officially counting down to our 2027 wedding (I still can’t believe I get to say that 💕). This weekend, Jimmy and I sat down with coffee and notebooks to talk through some of the details—guest list ideas, colors we love, and even possible venues. I’ll be sharing more soon, but for now, I’ll just say: it feels so real and exciting to be planning our future together.
🎃 Pumpkins, Porch, & Cozy Touches

Of course, no fall weekend would be complete without pumpkins! I picked up a few faux ones and styled them with some lanterns, rugs, (and even a witches broom!) on our porch. It’s amazing how just a couple of seasonal swaps can make the front of your home feel so warm and welcoming. Little moments like sipping cider on the porch with Jimmy and the dogs running around remind me why I love fall decorating so much. Shop our porch picks below!
☕ Slowing Down & Soaking It In
We also made time to slow down—pumpkin spice lattes (check out the recipe here), a cozy blanket, and one of my favorite cozy movies. Fall always reminds me to take a breath, be grateful, and enjoy the beauty of simple moments. Jimmy had never seen “You’ve Got Mail” or “Sleepless in Seattle”, so we had two movie nights!
✨ Final Thoughts
Our cozy fall weekend wasn’t anything extravagant, but that’s what made it perfect. A little planning, a little decorating, and a lot of love. 🍂💍
If you’re looking for inspiration this season, start small: grab a pumpkin, brew a cozy drink, and enjoy the little details that make fall magical.
