
Fall = apples + cinnamon = comfort food heaven. One of my favorite autumn desserts is Apple Crisp — it’s simple, sweet, and perfect for cozy nights.
Ingredients:
- 6 medium apples (peeled + sliced)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Crisp Topping:
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter (cold, cubed)
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Toss apples with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Spread in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping over apples.
- Bake 40–45 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream 🍨.
