If there’s one thing I’ve learned from cozy mysteries, it’s that life rarely follows the plan we map out for ourselves. Just like the best stories in my favorite whodunits, life is full of unexpected twists—and sometimes, the most wonderful ones come when you least expect them. ✨
Take Cider Shop Mysteries, for example. Winnie, the cider shop owner, thought she had her life all figured out—running her family business, serving up cider, and keeping things simple in her charming mountain town. But then life threw her a curveball. A mystery landed on her doorstep (literally!), and suddenly, she found herself in the middle of an adventure she never saw coming. And along the way? She discovered new friendships, unexpected love, and strengths she never knew she had.
I can’t help but see a little bit of my own story in hers. I wasn’t expecting to meet Jimmy when I did, and I certainly wasn’t expecting him to become such an important part of my life. But just like in the best cozy mysteries, sometimes the best chapters start with a surprise. Life has a way of leading us exactly where we need to be—even if we don’t recognize it at first.
Winnie reminds us that things aren’t always what they seem. A setback might just be the setup for something better. A closed door might lead to an open window with an even better view. And the moments we don’t see coming? They’re often the ones that change everything in the best way possible. 💛
So here’s to embracing life’s little mysteries, staying open to the unexpected, and remembering that even the biggest plot twists can have a happy ending. 💫
