Fall is in the air, and you know what that means—pumpkin spice everything! 🎃☕ But instead of spending $6+ at the coffee shop, you can whip up your own homemade pumpkin spice iced coffee right in your kitchen. It’s creamy, cozy, and full of fall flavors—and the best part? You probably already have most of the ingredients on hand.
This recipe is quick, budget-friendly, and the perfect pick-me-up whether you’re headed to work, decorating your porch for fall, or cozying up with your favorite book.
Ingredients
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled, or use cold brew)
- ½ cup milk of choice (whole, oat, or almond all work!)
- 2–3 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar (sweeten to taste)
- ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Optional Toppings:
- Whipped cream
- Extra sprinkle of pumpkin spice or cinnamon
Instructions
- Make the Pumpkin Base – In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla until smooth.
- Mix the Drink – Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the cooled coffee, milk, and your pumpkin mixture. Stir (or shake in a mason jar!) until blended.
- Top & Enjoy – Finish with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon for that coffee-shop feel. Sip and enjoy your DIY fall treat!
Cathy’s Tip 💡
I love to make a batch of the pumpkin base ahead of time. Just mix pumpkin puree, maple syrup, spice, and vanilla in a mason jar and keep it in the fridge for 4–5 days. In the morning, just add it to your coffee, pour over ice, and go!
