- 2 cans 21 oz each apple pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix spice cake works too for extra fall flavor!
- Β½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- Β½ cup caramel sauce plus more for drizzling
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: Β½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preheat oven to 350Β°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon, then drizzle with Β½ cup caramel sauce.
Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top (donβt stir).
Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
Sprinkle with nuts if using.
Bake for 45β50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with extra caramel for that bakery-style finish.
