Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup peas fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and diced carrots, cooking until soft.
  • Add the minced garlic and ground lamb, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until the lamb is browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, peas, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the mixture is thickened.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.
  • Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
